My SecretSanta gifts have arrived!

Hi guys! All aboard the #secret_santa hype train! I got home from work and there it is! A big festive package adressed to me. Upon opening I found a bunch of wrapped gifts and a sweet letter and card, with a handdrawn Diplodocus! The letter: “Vrolijk kerstfeest! I hope Google translate hasn’t failed me (-it hasn’t!-). I hope you like the gifts. Some light googling told me that you can’t get any of the chocolate in the Netherlands, but who knows?! Enjoy anyway! From @DoomBadgers & @DethMetalDuck” Thank you! I cannot wait to unwrap! Excited like a child haha. I made sure to open the envelop from the bottom so I can save the drawing as a small memoir.

What to unpack first? Decided to work from small to big (making this collage as I go. I want to really capture my excitement!) Well hello there sugary goodness....! “Sharing bar” hahaha I think not! And some Trebor extra breath peppermints for the after-candy halitosis.. Gotcha!

Alright, onto the next two packages having the same size. No way!!! I’m laughing so hard. This is fantastic! The first package has a book with the Christmas Story but instead of people it features adorable dressed up guinea pigs! Mary and Joseph and their plushie guinea jesus on the left, three wise men on the right. Clever you guys! Combined my love for guineas with my love for reading!

Onto the second.. Ha! This is excellent! A guinea pig Romeo and Juliet book! Ah yes the Christmas season wouldn’t be the same without a little romance...

More gifts to unwrap. This first package feels like a box and the other feels soft. Well well!The famous chocolate orange!!! I have always wanted to try it! Onto the second package. An adorable guinea pig plushie! It is so soft and cute!

It is trying to get away with my mints!

Alright saved the biggest gift for last.. Hell yeah!!! My favourite game, I’ve been wanting to buy this for so long!!! I’m a giant Uwe Rosenberg fan (he makes really great boardgames)! Gosh I never expected to actually receive this. I’m so happy! You two have gone above and beyond!

All the gifts together... I cannot thank you enough @DethMetalDuck and @DoomBadgers! You have made me very happy. The gifts are throughtful and spot on. Truly above and beyond! Again, thank you so much and I wish you and all you Imgurians taking the time to read this a very merry Christmas!
