Putin brought businessmen with him and Trump loves solutions that make him richer. I bet he offered to give Russia a portion of the mineral rights to Putin just to get him to the table to talk about a ceasefire. Of course, the only person out there who breaks their promises more than Trump is Putin so Trump will cry about Russia still bombing Ukraine after agreeing with the deal.
