Zoro cosplay swords!

When you buy things from China you never know what you're going to get, but I was happy to see that the packing they did for these was top notch! The swords also arrived in a perfectly reasonable 2 and a half weeks.

The blades are made from wood, so I can wear them at the convention I'm going to later this month. Metal weapons aren't allowed for fairly obvious reasons.

Shusui is one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords and was once wielded by the legendary samurai Ryuma. The sword was buried with Ryuma upon his death, but when he was resurrected as a zombie he once more wielded the sword. Zoro bested Ryuma the zombie in combat, and just before he once more secumbed to death he passed the sword onto Zoro, as he was satisfied with him becoming its new master due to his skill.

Sandai Kitetsu, one of the Wazamono grade swords. Zoro got this one from logue town from a shopkeeper who told him it was cursed. Zoro decided to test his luck against the curse by tossing the sword in the air and extending his arm to see if it would cut him. His luck won and the shopkeep was so impressed he let him have it for free.

The Wado Ichimonji is another O Wazamono sword. This sword is of great personal importance to Zoro as it once belonged to his close childhood friend Kuina before she passed away. As children they both swore that one day one of them would become the world's greatest swordman, and Zoro has given his entire life to this pursuit since her passing.

The blade is even true to the series, and while I knew about this when I ordered them, I was still surprised that it looks so good, especially given that its wood.

The small details is what really sets these apart.

I have no idea if people will care enough about this sort of thing for this post to go anywhere, but hopefully someone finds these as cool as I do.
