My full automatic is on the fritz .. so I had to get out my trusty Aeropress to keep the espresso flowing

Technically, you aren't getting an espresso with an AeroPress. It might still be a very good coffee but the pressure is not nearly enough.

Agreed. I’m using a James Hoffman “recipe” for Aeropress espresso .. but it’s just a really strong coffee not quite the real thing

Hopefully, that does the trick (or you get your machine back).
I need to buy me an AeroPress, only tested it a couple of times but seems like it's really worth the money.

It’s great. Such a simple design and it works well. I mix it up between that, pour overs ( mostly V60 ) and my Jura super automatic. My Jura is 10 years old and gets a lot of use. I had it serviced 5 years ago and it came back good as new .. honestly if I just have to pay for a service every 5 years it’s totally worth it
