If your only excuse for saying something is "freedom of speech", you're probably being a twat. I'm NOT saying that you don't have the absolute right to say whatever the hell you want. However, other people are also well within their rights to call you out on being an arsehole.
In light of all these "I don't give a fuck if you're offended" posts, people seem to think that other people should not be allowed to voice their displeasure at something you've said. If jokes you're making at work are pissing someone off, here's an idea: don't make them. Even if you're within your rights to make offensive jokes; being an arsehole is still... Being an arsehole and you will not be liked for it.
It's far easier to keep your black humour within friends, where no one will call you a prick.
Side note: I love dark humour, however, there is a time and a place, and it is not around people you don't know that well.
TL:DR - Don't be a cockwomble

Free speech means people can say whatever they want, but they can also criticize/condemn whatever other people say. Its a Double-edged sword

I thought we went over this, like, 200 years ago or something.

No. Offense is only ever taken. Never offered. What offends you will likely not offend me.

If Freedom of speech do not count for those who may offend or offer extreme opinions then there is not freedom of speech.

Correct. Cunt licenses are obtained from the DMV and require a written exam and field test.
