Wheel of Time, is the series. Eye of the World is the first book.

There are some books that tend to drag in the middle, but I've read and re-read this series since I was introduced in 1997ish.

Yea it's believable and as much as I love Tolkien, he got way more boring at times then Jordan has. So far..

I've done about four read throughs up to when they were released, with only having read through the last three once. (I held off 4 the end)

For real :) depending on your pace of reading you'll probably start to have dreams between the 2nd & 4th book, I did anyways.

I am almost done w/ the first and i've had a dream about Perrin. Specifically the whole concept of humans and wolves hunting together.

My buddy also swears the 2nd book is his top three of the series. So i'm very excited.
