I wanted a 5.0 LX sooo badly... couldn't afford the insurance… Probably why I am still alive today.

Nah, the Fox body was all about torque, not speed

So what year did they abandon the Mustang's "classic" muscle-car look?

225 horses from a 5l going 148mph and 5,6 to 60? I have doubts.

The Fox chassis + the 5.0L Tunnel Port Injection was as good as it got in the late 80's thru the early 90's.

There are family sedans now that can out perform this mustang.

This model is notorious for getting one that someone has “fixed up” by someone. Usually done wrong or cheaply.

more like double the price now.. its wild

If it survived the salt…it was being sold in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Yeah. A clean '88 notch LX 5.0? At least double that. Starting to see triple. Most of them were hacked to bits, wrecked, or rotted out.
