I've loved everything I've read by this momentous prick, and this quote is no exception.

I prefer “opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they’re usually a little shitty”

The hard part, as always, is who gets to judge what counts as “informed”.

You are not immune to propaganda.

Hard, but not insurmountable. Media literacy is attainable. Otherwise we wouldn't even have the idea of propaganda.

Fun fact: the hit indie animated mini-series The Amazing Digital Circus is inspired by the novel "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream".

Actually, you’re entitled to your opinion in any place in the world. What you’re not entitled to is to be free from harassment or prosecution for that opinion.

Ask for a quote informed opinion “take a look around”. Not happening.

1st amendment is supposed to protect against prosecution for your expression of opinion in the U.S. (at least by the us government) you can see how well thats working out/s

That’s for opinions about the government, not just opinions in general.

I believe it protects opinions in general from the government, with the exception of threats or other dangers to private individuals ( i can say "I hate Goerge Clooney"and cant be prosecuted by the us government) but if I were to say something defamatory or threaten George Clooney, I would be open to repercussions.

Not to go nerd, but he's a "public figure". He'd have to prove malice to win against you. But that's irrelevant.
