I've seen on YT people claiming that the Mexican Coca Cola tastes better because they use white sugar and not high-fructose corn sirup.

The coke is a bad example. Coca-Cola can easily make that in the US to avoid the tarrifs. Can't really do that with Canadian maple syrup though!
