There is no single action or event that will truly fix or make right all that has transpired. But I will nonetheless relish every step forward towards the future I want to see, as I continue to push for subsequent steps that need to be taken.
I really wish I knew why others seem to think differently. Metaphorically, I'm trying to explain how to make fettuccine and people are arguing at the step of boiling water that it doesn't fill their stomach. It's frustrating, to put it mildly.
No, but the chaos and in-fighting as the fascists scramble in a power vacuum should hopefully give the rest of us a chance to remove them from power and hold them accountable, including their billionaire backers.
And what exactly will reverse that? Seems to me it would require a time machine to reverse that. Let's worry about what we can do and work toward a better future instead of worrying about not being able to undo what's been done.
My question to you is, do you give a shit about your fellow human beings or not? In a crisis, IMO, it's really shitty to encourage hopelessness. Even if you think it's hopeless, you should keep that shit to yourself and fight for your fellow human being anyway. Without hope, people die, slower, but they die just the same. Meanwhile, look at Hungary, they didn't give up.
