Mamdani should have started a conversation with a reporter over the top of Trump's head. That would have totally freaked him out with added whiplash as he tried to work out who was talking.

Yeah, the same thing happens when tRump is around Putin, because he knows he’s not top dog when there’s a stronger personality in the room.

This is AI written slop right outta a youtube bullshit how my (whatever) cheated/fired me and how I got revenge. Same deliberate cadence designed to maximize the time you spend on it to maximize the ad revenue.

It's not AI, you're paranoid. This guy is just an amateur blogger with many good takes: https://www.facebook.com/bruce.fanger

Alas, it is AI. He uses AI for all his posts (and for his images). His takes might be valid, but he should try and write them down, instead of in prompts.

Like he feeds it a rough draft and says "here, clean it up for me"? I feel like that kind of side-steps the "It's just AI" accusation, but yeah, I don't love it either. Sadly, we should probably get used to that sort of thing.

Honest question: How do you really know?

This wasn't... It wasn't a... It wasn't a... It was...
It's x disguised as y...
And if there's a lesson here...

That cadence and the same phrases right there is in good chunk of ai written and voiced youtube videos

That's flimsy. That cadence / format existed before AI.

True, but it gets over-used by AI. And along with other AI indicators, as well as indicators showing a lack of human writing, is a strong argument for this being an AI text. That, and the OOP's Facebook page is filled to the brim with Gen AI images and texts.

That makes sense. Thank you.

So, I'm putting a. . here, so I can answer you tomorrow from my pc, in case you're really interested. (I suck too much at typing on my phone.)

I am actually interested to know. I find the topic fascinating. When someone is so sure about anything so subjective or difficult to discern, I like to know why.

The problem is, you have so many people going "that's AI", without really knowing what they're talking about.

This might be a long response from me (not sure yet), so maybe strap yourselves in.

I am able to recognise the style simply because I have used AI more than I care to admit. Not proud of it, but it's true and at least I've gotten this totally useless skill from it. But of course you shouldn't take "I can tell just by looking at it" as a valid answer, so let's look more closely:

AI (especially Chat-GPT - I'm actually not very familiar with the others), LOVE to use repetition for the sake of rhetorical rhythm:
It’s not bravado. It’s not denial.
Mamdani didn't absorb it. So Trump didn't rage.
He folded. Nicely. Neatly.
