I admitted it to a co-worker for the first time the other day, we both work in a veterinary clinic, and she looked at me like I was insane. It's true. I still get emotional when I talk about my dogs death. I loved her more than anything. She was the last piece of a happy life that I had, when she died I swear a part of me died with her. Love your pets people, my biggest regret is that in the end I was so busy with working two jobs that I was too tired to really appreciate her like I should have.

That's because doggos are better than people.

RIP beanie.

Also this shouldn't be a confession bear. I'd give up most of my extended family before I would one of my pups.

I figured since my co-worker thought it was nuts and I've felt I should have been more saddened by the human deaths in my life

Humans aren't all that.
