This is my Godfather and me, I'm missing him lately. He passed away 10 years ago this year.
Throat cancer is a horrible way to go.
I really did love him...
I just had a funny way of showing it.

Sorry for your loss OP. Cancer is a bastard. I don't know anyone that hasn't been affected by it.

Smoked a pipe all his life, also worked in an ink factory where throat cancer is quite common.

I'm so sorry. My grandmother died of lung cancer. She never smoked but lived in a coal mining village in Scotland. Cancer is awful.
