Even tho I have a passion for a particular flower species, that doesn't stop me from making impetuous, walking out the door, purchases from my local nurseries. This was one such buy. An Aussie native (lost the tag) that looks like a tiny spinefex, that throws up these gorgeous flowers on a very long stem. Each flower is about 15mm (1/2") wide.
