Strange lightning storm I captured w/drone

Something is up w/the sky--have you noticed?

The bottom lit up in stages from left to right about 1/3rd at a time across the bottom of the sky--I don't understand what this is

From left to right the bottom of the sky lit up

What are those straight lines on the right/upper right of the screen, is it an object?

Literally---a line in the photo. This doesn't look real. These are screengrabs from a video I put together.

What are we looking at, have you ever seen lightning like this?
