I on the other hand am quite happy to learn about new artists and styles. I’m not taking special effort for that and I certainly don’t know all new songs, but I think it’s great we do have new music and most of it is just fine even for older ppl.

#14 Anchoring (I have no idea if it's called like that, I call it like that) - YMMV, but think of something while you're locking the door. I mean some off-the-wall absurd stuff. Or just think about where you're going (both work for me). Then, later, when you've been gone a minute or so, and are unsure whether you've locked the door, you'll either remember the absurd stuff, or think "I'm going to such-and-such place, so, the door is locked".
