It took me 50 years to get it right. Not as easy as it should be. So here’s what you do. Pan, water, stove, bring to barely simmer. Water will boil a little later. Gently cradle in a spoon one egg at time and drop into the water Repeat. Timer 13 minutes. Remove, run cold water over them, immediately crack and peel. The shell basically slides off and you have a perfect yolk #egg #eggs

I saw somewhere recently (probably imgur) that you can cook them in a microwave, set timer 1 min. Damn thing exploded after 40 seconds :(

This is so old, but I just nailed the eggs very similar to yours. So damn hard to get it perfect!

I poke the fat end of the egg with a pin, then you can just plop them in the boiling water without fear of them cracking.

Wet paper towel. Place of bottom of a rice cooker. Add eggs, lid on and start. When the cooker stops you have soft, sit for 10min, hard.

?not everyone has a rice cooker but good point

I bring my water to a hard boil. Put the already room temp eggs in. Turn down a bit to a low boil for 3 minutes. Turn off, let sit 7 >
