It's just a common ivy but it's also my favorite plant

I have lots of plants, but my favorite by far is this common ivy that I started from the ivy in my wife's wedding bouquet.

Gorgeous planter, too

Most ivys are horribly invasive; creating monocultures and destroying forest ecosystems. Please don’t ever plant it outside.

...so YOU caught the bouquet? You know you have to marry her again, right?

As long as I don't have to pay for another wedding I'll gladly marry her again lol

22 years and 2 moves later my crooked willow from my wedding bouquet is still going strong. I'm delighted to hear you did the same thing.

MIL had white jasmine and camellia plants everywhere. Turns out they were her wedding flowers from 50 years ago. House stunk in summer.

Amazing, hopefully this ivy is still going after that long! No smell to worry about with this one.

Plant propagation is fun! And relatively inexpensive!

As a plant lover with over 20 house plants & a garden. What’s stopping you?

Why no plants?

I've had plenty opportunities but I've just put my focus in less desirable actions and purchases

If you have friends w/ plants then ask for clippings. Just need a little dirt and some cheap pots. I give away soooo many clippings

Yeah honestly they'll be glad to give them away. I trim my plants all the time and end up having way too many 'babies' all over the house.
