I have nothing against the cute dog but as an atheist, the shit tonnage of religious Facebook posts in my news feed is too damn high!

Does that mean that Jesus took away that doggies legs?

cyborg wheeljacket thing. If faith helped the owner cope, then that's one thing, but the dog is active and alive through human advancements.

I agree. Much of human kindness, selflessness, charity and morality is attributed to supposed higher power and not to people themselves.

If i was the vet i would have lost the back legs and just put wheels everywhere.

Part of the problem with religion today is that people will just pick one and stick to the name, but never actually learn the beliefs. ---

In some cases it is also caused by the parents trying to teach religion to their child, but them not fully understanding it themselves.

If people learned ALL the beliefs, there'd be no religion.

It's not learning all the beliefs that I am talking about here, just learning the one they choose Henry-Davidly.

I get it. My point was if all of the tenets of say the bible specifically were enforced by modern Christianity, there'd be fewer believers.

I don't think that would be possible. There are too many denominations of Christianity for that to happen.
