Check out Swedish Vallhunds. They're like Corgi wolves. Legs are a bit longer, chest is a bit larger, so they don't look as stunted.

Most are born with tails but the Pembroke breed usually has their tails docked.

Pembroke are sometimes born without tails and If they have tails the owners usually dock them for aesthetics. Cardigans have large tails.

I think they are docked now for looks, but originally it was because they were working dogs, and had their tails dogs to prove it
