I'm a two time member of that club. Would've had a home birth for my second if I wasn't scheduled for an induction. Made it to the hospital but not to the birth wing. XD

Did you have to have an episiotomy? Healing from that is some of the worst pain I've ever experienced.

No fortunately, but I did tear with my first and have to get stitches. That was certainly NOT fun

Yeah, it's horrible, I had that with my second. The episiotomy was much worse, though, because the pain lasted for weeks and it hurt to sit down and it hurt to hold the baby. And I don't just mean it hurt, I mean when I picked up the baby it felt like the stitches were going to break and my guts would fall out, lol. Just awful. Maybe if women talked about this stuff more, men would understand why we need to be able to have abortions. Because it's horrific even if everything goes "right".

I could see that being a viable option for many women because pregnancy can be so uncomfortable and dangerous but I like carrying my babies. I love feeling them move and I love the reaction from my daughter when she can feel her brother kick. It's awesome. But I also know not every mom feels that way.

I already find pregnancy to be terrifying. I never want to have kids. I'd adopt, but not give birth.

People should know childbirth can be traumatic and cause PTSD. We need to stop shaming mothers who didn’t think the experience was good

I hated my birth experience. I felt unsupported and like I was a burden on the doctors. My wishes for an epidural were not followed and I ended up having narcotics instead that caused my baby to be sluggish at birth. He had to have breathing assistance at birth. Afterward, I wasn’t supported with any feeding methods other than breastfeeding my baby, who was slowly starving as I struggled to breast feed. I ended up pumping with formula support. Baby never latched properly. It was awful. 0/5 stars

I've yet to meet someone who thought it was good.... Well I take that back, maybe one person but I find her to be a little.... Out there....

A lot are good! It is painful and can be scary but giving birth for the first time was one of the most exciting times in my life. Like I made an incredible little human, I did that. I would have no problem describing my experience as good, great even. For some women yes it is an absolutely traumatic experience, but for some others it's wonderful. All experiences are valid.
