Tories want to kill trans people. Labour wants to kill trans people. Reform wants to kill everyone who isn't a straight white British-born Conservative. Green has no chance of winning anything. And neither do the LibDems. So I either throw my vote away, or vote for a party that wants my friends dead.
woozle

In the spirit of the pursuit of knowledge, could you point me towards the Tory and Labour manifesto items about killing..... well, anyone.
No, need for anything about Reform UK, thank you. I regard them as just honking nonsense without any aim or purpose other than venting wildly misdirected futile anger.
Yes, I do understand hyperbole.

My friends are trans. Both parties support anti-trans rhetoric that has lead to trans people being murdered in this country

Has led*
TheOneTrueZippy8
That is an Olympian leap from "support anti-trans rhetoric" (and I might quibble even that) to "wants to kill".
I don't especially like quinoa, it doesn't mean I go around murdering vegans.

How else do you remove an entire group of people from society? The fact of the matter is, people have already been killed because of the way trans people are talked about by the media, as well as celebrity and political leaders.

So, for those of us who are only marginally informed about British political platforms, could you elaborate on the Labour platform on this topic? (I’ve seen what the Tories think).

I went and found my own answer as nobody ever gave me one: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4nng2j42xro

I too would like to know.... (why would people downvote a question from an outsider?)
tomatoboy
Probably assumed I’m JAQing off, which I’m not.

Same here... I watch Philosophy Tube (Abigail Thorn) and seen her rants about Tory trans policy... How could Labour be worse, or even nearly as bad...?
slinkiisu
Imgur decided I needed zero notifications about my own post. Both Labour and Conservative back anti-trans legislation
bippityboppitybuttsex
Yeah, a quick Google says the opposite

And yet as soon as they get in power they're already bringing up anti-trans taking points. Saying trans women can't use women's toilets. What a shock.
