Such a great pair of shows. Each had different "freak of the week" feels. Some of the best of the pre-SYFY days.
I think Eureka is my favorite of the two because of the seasonal storylines. But it's real close.

And haven. Those 3 always came right after eachother in scifi and I enjoyed all 3 of them.

I loved Haven for season after season, until it went *too* Steven King and... sideways it went.

I have been informed that "Alphas" is in the same universe as these two. I will have to go back and revisit.
