The Dr. Bertha O. Pendleton Elemetntary School sign didn't even last a week.
It has already been four days since a friend texted me this.
I don't have a picture of the way it's supposed to be without balloons and people from the ceremony last week.

We campaigned and petitioned the school board for more than two years to change it.

Presumably Henry Clay was a black man, and so naming the school after him is woke and so they're going change the name of the elementary school so it was named after a slave owner

If they found the letter like right at the base it probably fell off right? Speaking as somebody who used to be a teenager, if I was gonna rip a letter off a sign, I would totally take it with me. Not that I ever did that. Well maybe. Who's to say.
