So, we've all seen this here. It is, of course, complete bullshit. Here's why:

I looked and cannot find any place that this has ever been documented. All I could find was a Quora post where expert George Schiller GUESSES the speed that lions can run and then GUESSES from that, how high he figures they could jump. He doesn't even say that he say such a jump!

So, the facts. Here's what's documented: Lions and tigers can jump almost equally high. The vertical leap record for a tiger is more than 12 feet, and the lion is just a few inches less.

On the other hand, this massive motherfucker is named Hercules. This 900 pound liger has been documented to leap forward over 40 feet. At least, that's what his website claims. They did not post pictures of this, sadly.
