Silas Shelton, 49
A Clinton County pastor pleaded guilty to four of the 12 charges against him involving sex with a minor.
Silas Shelton, 49, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct and menacing by stalking charges.
In exchange, rape, gross sexual imposition and arson charges were dropped.
Shelton was listed online as the pastor of Blanchester Community Ministries on Main St. in Wilmington.
Some of the counts involved sex abuse of a teen stemming from incidents in 2019.
Shelton is also charged with having sex with a minor who was a member of his congregation in 2022.
In both cases, the minor was under the age of 16, according to court papers.
Shelton will be sentenced at a later date.

I'm sorry, but zero changes should have been dropped. Charge him for what he did, regardless of cooperation. Part if the reason he got access to the vulnerable for as long as he did was by pretending to be a good guy. It's a facade hiding a monster and he should not get away with it in any aspect.

Bikers have orgs like BACA that help these exact kids. Bikers, on average, are more likely to be the ones killing a pedo than be one themselves. Sure, there's a minority that are running drugs or something, but generally speaking I'd trust a biker over a Christian any day.
