I know that gameplay-wise it's closer to the arcade, but the joystick control felt sticky. I prefer the NES version.

I played that pc version from like ten years ago and then went back to it, at some point they completely overhauled it and it felt very different. I was sad. I couldn't tell if they were good improvements because I just wanted the game I played ad nauseum
