Show me your kitties!

Elvis in the front was pawing at me to get pets, Elza in the back was just... Yawning. The E1 litter is actually very VERY quiet, they barely ever meow.

Some more Elza. Don't be fooled by the trick of the light here, both her eyes are yellow-green, but her left eye has a little white patch in the bottom of the iris, which makes it look lighter than it actually is.

So much hair, doing her best to do a poof.

Let's go over to the E2s! These guys and girls are still as foot-obsessed as ever, the little freaky weirdos!

But sometimes you get cute little pictures like this, too, and you forgive them their fetishes.

We kept them downstairs in the big dog bench for a few days because it was just TOO HOT for them upstairs. Lili got too excited, as she often does when seeing kittens, but these kittens showed no fear!

E1s are doing well, Elza had a little setback 10 days ago, but she seems to be past it now. 4/5 of them will be big enough to be sterilized next Monday, and then they're just one vaccine away from being adopted!

The E2s are being WEIRD, though. Elton gained lots of weight and then lost it all, Enya had the biggest drop we've ever seen, Erikson has been bouncing up and down for days ... But they all eat, drink, play, run, scream at us,... They're being treated for Giardia, so maybe that's part of it. We're following it up with the shelter, but so far they don't think it's a problem yet.

Dog tax: Lili being cute. The last couple that came to look at her was very enthusiastic... And then ghosted the shelter and us. So we're waiting for the next prospects.

Cat tax: I was going to make a cute picture of Elvira looking very relaxed... And then she saw a rabbit running in the field behind our house. Like, a small rabbit, 30-40 meters away hopping through the grass, and she was. Locked. In. She looks cute, but apparently there's a killer underneath it all ?.
