Origin - We Created Worlds
After Origin was finally shut down by EA in 2001, Origin Founder Richard Garriott held a party where he gave out T-shirts with a play on their "We Create Worlds" slogan.
Origin the game company is why I'll never use Origin the game service. Still too soon.

No, Meridian 59 and The Realm Online both preceded Ultima Online by a year.
