This would add pressure for Irsael to take the US lead deal of a two state solution with a coalition force acting as a barrier. Which if people didnt know, thats what the Biden administration has been working on. A lasting peace instead of a temporary cease fire

However outside of that, it wont do much. the ICJ doesnt have a lot power (even less than the ICC) the ICJ deals with countries as whole while the ICC deals with individuals. As for dealing with countries as whole, they can shine light on crimes a country has done. however they have no mechanism to enforce anything. its up to individual countries with nothing binding them to listen to the ICJ. Its as effective as change.org petition.

which will have a coalition force fighting them instead of Israel forcing hamas to kill other muslim soliders. part the deal and negations is also a completely revitalized Palestinian National Authority being the government which will be getting all the money they need to rebuild. putting the Hamas in the position having less supplies, less control, and fighting Muslims islraeis. That makes it difficult to recruit. Only top of if Hamas leadership ends up disappearing...

I mean, that's a nice dream, but that hasn't come about yet in the 70+ years it's been tried, and we've had WAY better circumstances AND way more reasonable people to try it with than the current dumpster fire that the region is providing us.
I truly hope that works this time, but I think I know what the safer bet is.

That no two-state deal is made. But more specifically, if I had to narrow it down: that things will get worse, and eventually public pressure will get bad enough that things fall back into another lull in an eternal stalemate, but not one of any real substantive change. The Palestinians will rebuild as best they can, but in a worse position, and Hamas will see a new generation of terrorists thanks to this overreaction of Israel, and the whole thing starts over again in another decade or two. >

Sadly, I think Israel was destined for constant conflict, because, like so many other countries around that region (and elsewhere on the globe), the boundaries were set up on a map by people who were the victors in a war and had no real knowledge of the people they were condoning off, and no real personal stakes in it anyway.
Centuries of meddling about in the countries of that region have eroded any chance for peace or stability.
