Just some nostalgic memories.

I could spend days with the Spirograph with the different shapes, sizes, and colors. The hardest part was keeping the big circle stable though. Oh, and begging for more pens.

Most of the time these were little more than blobs of mud colored meaningless "paintings". Fun the first time and then "meh" every time after.

Kept the fingers busy at least :)

#1 "The hardest part was keeping the big circle stable though", you say; my set came with little pins to secure one part to whatever was under the paper.
