I got married on this spot about 2 1/2 years ago. Came back to take some night shots. This is my first time really playing around with night photography - quite like the result!

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is so beautiful at night.

From the lookout on the Cahill Expressway (a fairly short walk from where the first shot was taken), overlooking Circular Quay. The blurs on the water are ferries, and that is indeed the Sydney Opera House.

If you are using dSLR, you need to go for higher f-stops, then all lights will come out more sparkly. Longer exposure, higher f-stops.

I used f8 for this shot as it was an exercise about shutter speed. I did a few others in bulb with lower aperture (f16). Cheers!
