Grating is for loose boxes. There could be slats in there for the pallets to rest on, but those only REALLY work with "block boards" - pallets that have a continuous perimeter on the bottom. Those slats introduce their own issues, like making this recovery impossible while not preventing this problem for the type of pallet it happened to.

I get it, but come on: let's get some bigups for the skill the driver showed. I've had to go up in a forklift cage or scissor lift to slowly fix that issue and it took longer than he did and honestly not as safe (despite this method obviously causing stress tremors at OSHA HQ)

You need to realize that grates are an add-on and not standard in wearhouses like this all around the world. I'm forklift certified in Poland and those grates are very uncommon luxury. Also, I'm pretty sure the grates at my current warehouse are not designed to bear the load. More so that random bits and bobs that would fall out of the box pallets don't fall and hit someone on the head.

Well, in pinyin I believe it would be hao and bu hao (yes and not yes), kind of like tha and chan eil or Is or cha in Scottish Gaelic are affirmative and not.

Yes, alternatives can be presented as good/not good or as true/not true but there isn't always a generic affirmative. (And in languages that do have an equivalent for "yes" there are sometimes multiple forms for grammatical agreement.)

In mandarin the verb is used to indicate yes or no. 'Will you marry me?' The answer would be will or not will.
Hao is usually translated as good. It's not considered an affirmative.
