some states want it
Speldrawng
You have to imagine that if they could, one of them would eventually snap, with horrible consequences. Probably best that they can't.

In college I worked at a YMCA; a big 4th grader was beating up a kindergartner. I picked the kid off, was fired for touching him.
mdzmdz
You should have stopped at just picking him off
Yea, I did say "don't do that" in an aggressive tone. Maybe wrong, but I felt okay with choice. Good thing I'm not in teaching I guess.
Sarazah
That's the most bullshitty thing I've heard all day. Fuck that kid. You should have kicked him in the face.
He was a bully. The parents complained saying when I picked him up off the little dude I scared him. . . .
Parents who refuse to acknowledge that they raised their child to be a shitty asshole are some of the worst people.
The Y said I should have stood there saying "stop" firmly.

Uhm. No. The teaching association would fight that if you happen to have a membership
I was a part time employee while in school.
Teaching association isn't for only full time. You pay a yearly membership fee for legal coverage, even as a sub.
