This is totally irrelevant, but I find it kinda funny her comment is in line with the troubled history of the word. It was originally about social withdrawal due to schizophrenia, and eventually got stereotyped onto kids w/ autism because, from the outside, their tendencies to isolate themselves looked the same. It only became widely accepted in the 70s that the internal causes were different. Etymology is fun

Fun fact, Audi isn't just a name, but an acronym; Auto Union Deutschland Ingolstadt! Each ring is a different German engineering company who merged to form Auto Union in 1932.
... I'm a big fan of the older Audi rally cars. ;D

My wife is from the part of London where "Audi" is where they go to shop for groceries. Always gives me a giggle. I ask her to get me a bottle of water while she's in there.
