What’s the 5 min cream? Like...creaming the butter and sugar for 5 minutes? Or am I reading it wrong?

I always add an extra half-cup of flour. Makes em fluffy and soft, instead of thin and crunchy.

Also the ratio of saturated vs unsaturated fats, affects the chewy/crunchy ratio as well.

Dude the REAL secret is beating the shit outta the dough b4 chips to make sure the gluten is broken out of the wheat. Makes chewy af cookies

I didn’t have brown sugar once and did granulated sugar and added maple syrup. That worked. I didn’t have molasses cause who in California..
