Anomalocaris and Squid Cat Toys

I've been working on these, and a goldfish & ammonite patterns for quite some time, and today I think I finally found ribbon works for the fins (More appropriately, I finally remembered to pick up some ribbon while I was at the store earlier...(O_o)...).

The one on the far right was yesterdays test piece...and didn't like it, but also, it had its own little charm, heh.

I had attempted to record a video tutorial on how to finish the squid, but...but butt...That video sucks horribly. Plus I screwed up on several parts...So I'll need to make another one...Maybe next week...Fingers crossed...

I really like how the ten-tickles came out. Definitely going with this.

Unfortunately, unlike with the anomalocaris, I couldn't figure out how to make this one repairable. Meh, it's not a hard knit. About an hour to an hour and a half to make.

The tutorial I recorded for this one..is...decent...But there's a lot that I could have done better. Soooo, I'll redo that video, too.

The really neat thing about the anomalocaris is it would not be that difficult to repair it. (o_O), which I'm totally shocked. Plus, I think I found a method to keep the fins from being easily pulled out. I'll have to let my kitties play with it (But they are fairly old, and don't really play with new toys...Hmm??? Meh, have to try anyway, heh).
