Alright! I can dodge balls now! But would you call it cheating if I live on the other side of the Atlantic ocean?
TreefrogJohnson

When I have 16 pets someday I imagine I'll also have to stay
DarkSock
As a Katrina survivor…when one this big hits you'll be out of power for 2 weeks min, & will have to scavenge water & gas Mad Max style.
Kieralynh
One of the people here is immunocompromised with lots of health problems so hopefully we're not without power too long.
Kieralynh
We have tons of ice packs to keep her medicines chilled but that can only last so long, ya know?
DarkSock
Seek out first responders after the storm passes; you should be given priority
Kieralynh
That's the plan. With some power companies you had to pre register as a medical necessity household but I'm hoping they'll still help.
orangecicle
Not to sound insensitive... But evacuating seems like a better plan than staying there.
tangybreath
Evacuating 16 pets is no joke. But maybe they should have tried to at least evacuate the immunocompromised person
IHaveASiriusCyberneticsCorporationGenuinePeoplePersonality
Not enough booze.
Kieralynh
It's expensive booze like Grey Goose and Patron, does that count for more?
MapleSyrupMoose
No
IHaveASiriusCyberneticsCorporationGenuinePeoplePersonality
It's about percentage at this point, not quality.
genericanamoly
No, it's still not enough.
Kieralynh
Everyplace is closed now, have been since this morning, but to hell with rationing my booze!
StephNugs
16... pets..? Well, i was going to ask why you didn't evacuate, but you clearly don't make great choices.
watercolortitties
This should be higher up. They say they have an immunocompromised person too.
Kieralynh
We kind of got stuck with some of them. The IC person's mom was a hoarder and we kept what could survive. All have been fixed so there 1/?
StephNugs
You can never "get stuck" with animals. Take them to a shelter. 16 is far, far too many.
Kieralynh
won't be any more. We do live in a very big house though, and even I was surprised by how well the house functions and how clean it is. 2/?
Kieralynh
We've got dozens of litter boxes, pee pads for the messy kitties who miss the box, and they get cleaned multiple times a day. We're just 3/?

making the best out of a situation we were stuck with. Thankfully some of them are seniors so the number should go down in a year or two.
