Yeah, it would be a whole lot better without the eggs, if you ask me. Can't imagine that working.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always upvote pie eh uh

12 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

This would be the greatest confusion my mouth could ever taste

12 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

As long as there is shrimp, I am good.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's just rice with stuff. Authentic paella only has chicken, rabbit, tomato and those huge white beans (and rice). Egg is bleghh >.<

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can call it whatever you want except paella. That's not even close.

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

The only similarity is the pan and the rice...that's pretty much it.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I once saw a cook drop an even bigger one to the floor :(

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why nobody is talking about eggs and raw peppers? no spanish on Imgur?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Palms are sweaty, knees weaks, arms are heavy, don't know how to pronounce this food for ya, dad's paella

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eggs and peas! I can't wait for the Valencian half of this joint account to see this - he'll be horrified.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I WANT THAT. I AM AFFLICTED WITH THE PREGNANCY. WANT NOW.

12 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

I love paella, I ask my mom to make it every time I come home - but eggs, eww.

12 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I'm spanish and I never saw anybody replace the lemon slices for boiled eggs, but looks good anyway OP.

12 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

You wouldn't know any paella recipes without any kind of seafood, would you?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course I do. Actually, the paella is a typical dish from Valencia, and the original paella valenciana doesn't carry any seafood. 1/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can translate a recipe for you if interested 2/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definitely. Feel free to message me (no rush though). Thanks :)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. I know what a paella is. It is that thing that you eat with your mouth.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

RECIPE

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want it in my mouth like the slut I am.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And here I am, eating microwaved corndogs and a handful of chips.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't despair. Corndogs have their place in society, and should also be celebrated.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just got off work, and really didn't feel like cooking shit. But hah, seeing that? Made them taste all the better.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm here to help. I'm always here to help.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is this?! You're offending my country!!(Spain)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

All I know is that looks delicious. Is there a significance to this dish?

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

*shrug* probably just a familiar thing. It is a tasty Spanish rice dish, but it doesn't have a lot of overall significance.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey OP, can we hang out like once a year?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What…is it?

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Spanish rice dish flavored with saffron.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know but it's beautiful.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Paella with hardboiled eggs? Never saw that.

12 years ago | Likes 301 Dislikes 0

yeah not very typical at all, murica.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

Food is cultural

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Should be slices of lemon!

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Seeing a paella without slices of lemon and using peeled shrimp is making me terribly sad :(

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

That's because, as a Spaniard from Valencia (where paellas are from), this is NOT a paella.

12 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 6

YES FOR RITA'S SAKE THIS IS NOT PAELLA.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Biryani on the other hand...

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I know right?! My dad makes this once a year also, I'm gonna suggest the egg as well...let's see if it makes a difference.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Anything goes into a paella. It's literally a collection of scraps and leftovers traditionally, but you can make it any way you like

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

They look very over cooked though.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

it's delicious. you smoosh them into the rest of the food... mmmm eggy goodnes

12 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

You should be an egg salesman.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Oh no! The egg people have gotten to you, too!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Feel like 6min-ish slightly soft eggs would be best. Little bit more to stir in.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Also goes great with slices of avocado. We have something very similar in Trinidad called pelau

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

isn't the recipe for Paella "Everything that's not too heavy and within arms reach"?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Read the title as "My father's awesome annual penis"

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 9

THIS is a "bad reply"??? I'm sorry but I was expecting much worse and then ended up trying to save your drowning ass with an upvote.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Was just thinking that. Never tried it with hard boiled eggs on it like that, could be good!

12 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Say hard boiled eggs one more time

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2
