Labeling Venezuelans as terrorists has seemed to work with their base quite well.

Presidementia has more emergency executive authority to act against (what he deems to be) "tErRoRiSm" without congressional approval, so he deems everything he doesn't like as "eXtReMiSm," "tErRoRiSm," & "A tHrEaT tO nAtIoNaL sEcUrItY" to abuse the powers of office.

Considering that the meme is pointing to an audience of people who came to see MAGA, and therefore are themselves MAGA, Yeah... this is pretty accurate.

Pam Bondi claimed they had "the girlfriend of the founder of ANTIFA" under arrest. Not sure how old she would be, but the Greatest Generation fighting in WWII are mostly 100 years old now. That's where the bulk of ANTIFA is, and buried in Arlington Cemetary.

You can thank previous administrations for this. They pretty much set it up so that once you label a person or group as terrorists you can do whatever you want to them. Patriot Act allowed for three specific violations of civil liberties, including torture, indefinite holding without due process, and collecting data on citizens without warrant or consent. As well as execution.

Oh, trust me... I absolutely blame prior administrations for facilitating our current debacle. The whole patriot act nonsense should have been torn out by the roots but subsequent presidents just kept it in their back pocket "just in case". Whelp, now it's--& policies derived from it--being flung around like monkeys throwing poop.

Kept it in there back pockets? They actively used it to beat people over the metaphorical head with. The Democrats enjoy accumulating more power just as much as the Republicans. https://www.thebureauinvestigates.com/stories/2017-01-17/obamas-covert-drone-war-in-numbers-ten-times-more-strikes-than-bush

The reason we are where we are now is because of the slippery slope this country has been on for decades. And its sliding exactly where the people in power want it to go. Where there is more for them and less for everyone else. https://www.nationofchange.org/2025/03/05/since-1975-79-trillion-has-been-redistributed-from-the-bottom-90-to-the-top-1/

Must be maga bots trolling anti-maga posts downvoting you because what you're saying is spot on.

The ball really got rolling during Reagan's time in office then when corporations were declared people and all their money infected elections the die were cast.

Trying to explain that even if the Democrats had full control of the government it wouldnt really stop this, really pisses alot of people on here off, because they dont want to admit that the people they support and advocate for, are part of problem.
1993–1995 — President Bill Clinton, majorities in both House and Senate.
2009–2011 — President Barack Obama’s first term, majorities in both House and Senate. 2021–2023 — President Joe Biden’s first two years, majorities in both House and Senate

They had more than enough opportunities to fix these problems, each time they had one, they squandered it. But they made sure to keep their donors happy because that is what gets them reelected. The votes are arbitrary because if you have enough money, you can basically manufacture consent. And they do, regularly. This is why I dont mind the downvote, I'm right and its pretty fucking obvious to see if you can pull your head out of your ass long enough. Most cant.

There's plenty reasons enough to blame the Dems too but if I had my druthers I'd druther see them running the show. I prefer suspense rather than horror.
