Ironic that it's a Human Resources company suing. The jokes could write themselves here.

The industrial park where my grandmother worked in the 80s and 90s had a hill in the middle of it with several gravestones and very large old trees. We visited once and it was overgrown and the tombs were open, it was sad and creepy. Years later I looked it up on google maps and noticed a larger "newer" cemetery nearby with older graves closer to/surrounding the rest of the industrial park. It is extremely sus

My elementary school was a pandemic hospital originally. There was a tunnel that connected the two major buildings that was supposedly used to transport infectious patients. The play field had been an old graveyard and you could see the old forgotten headstones from graves they didn't move in the brush just outside the fence.

A frankly crummy deal

All of america is built on a graveyard.
JohnSatclaire
Do...do you have *any* idea how many corpses are somewhere on the planet?
ilovebigmutts
Im guessing its more than 10.
ItHappenedInThe20thCentury
You mean somewhere there are more than 10 corpses? Liek, at once? Shit man, that freaks me out.
JohnThatcher
The world is built on a graveyard. The US's just happens to be stolen.
QuartzPoker
Same for most of the world! At one point more than half the planet was flying a European flag

There was some woods with paths in it near my house growing up. If you looked closely you could see that there were some headstones there as well. It is now a retirement home.

My favorite story about Savannah, GA is that in the very early years the city decided to build a statue for one of the railroad tycoons who helped finance much of the city. The native Americans came to them and said "you can't build the statue there, it's a burial site for one of our chiefs and sacred ground" and the city said "well, we already ordered the materials so we can't change it now, sorry" and they built the statue.

That just sounds like vertical integration to me.

There's a retirement home not far from where I used to live. From about half of the building complex, you got a direct view of the local graveyard.
