A man who served the people for 50 years fucked over by a guy who only serves himself. Trump voters I've tried to be nice up until now, but if you still stand by this traitor you are nothing but angry hate filled idiots.
To answer your question, yes, he can do that. Ex-Presidents keep their clearance and receive briefings as a courtesy and a benefit to the current Administration. That is, they are kept up to date in case the current President wants to consult with them on something that happened in the last Administration. That does happen when we have real Presidents and not assholes like Trump in office.
I used my access to classified information to commit treason. I don't want Biden doing that against me. -Trump probably assuming he is capable of that level of rational thought
It's far too late to ask "Can he do this" the thing now is "let's organize and stop him" becuase soon the only thing to say will be "It's time to start shooting"
BTW, I can think of one thing he already ordered that was probably illegal. The dumping of the Dam reservoir water storage locations in California after the fire. He literally ordered his people to do that out of spite.
Yes, he can do this. He's doing it because Biden did it to Trump when they found he stole classified documents and hid them in a bathroom at mar-a-lago.
Former presidents always acted as experienced advisors to the current president. (Something might have happened on their watch that paints current events in a different light.)
StrandedonEarth
Can he do this, you ask? Who’s going to stop him, SCOTUS. ROFL
tjm1226
This is tit for tat. I’m just surprised he didn’t revoke Obama, Bush, or Clinton’s as well.

you weren't genuinely worried before?
electronicbovine
The little musklings don't even have clearances.
leepupjax
Honestly, I am down with revolution.
dnsbubba
Yes, he can do that. All security clearances are ultimately under the authority of the Oval Office.

He doesn't want people being able to see what he's doing.

Then why the fuck does he keep talking about every little goddamn thing he does? He hasn't STFU for like 10 solid years.

That's the scary part. President Musk is now in Control

And worse yet, the water won't go to the LA area. It will just make sure farmers run short this summer.
OmnipotentBeing
He's too stupid to hide everything he is doing. If a Democrat gets in, in 2028 expect some charges, for whatever.
wouldClimbForCash
And expect the charges to be delayed and not stick, because when have we seen a different outcome?

Honestly assumed it was the default for when you left office.

The revocation of access, not the storing of documents in your latrine, to clarify.
