Update: My son WON!

The coveted prize: FREE entry to the Halloween 8th grade dance tomorrow! Also hearing his name on the intercom as best in the school. And of course all the awesome. I found out that the votes are cast by the teachers and staff, not the students. I like that because it makes it more about the best project, not the most popular kid.

His hand hurts from dragging it around all day, but they let him use the elevator, and allowed him to be tardy to classes. He is so very happy! I told him we got to the front page on imgur for the first time ever, and he said "that is awesome! It is like we both won!" He is always so excited for other people's happiness. One of the kindest souls I have ever met. He is such a gift to me and to the world.

I promised a video of the boinger boinging, but apparently it was loose and fell off before he even got to school. We searched around but could not find it on the route he took. Sorry y'all.

Thank you all so much for enjoying our project with us, and to celebrate we had chicken curry (his favorite) for dinner! It was a great day for him, and we will remember this day and project for the rest of our lives.
