Flock cameras violate the 5th, 6th, and 14th Amendments I'm pretty sure, it's why some places have invalidated red light cams in the past. 5th/14th, since the cameras can only detect the cars and in most cases not the driver it tries to shift the burden of proof to the car owner to prove they weren't driving instead of the state needing to prove guilt. 6th, since the cameras are technically the accuser you lose the right to face your accuser in court.

I didnt think there can be worse captions than the one word at a time ones, but this guy managed it.

Just go without your phone or keyfob or wallet please. I have an 80s jeep with a bullbar on the front. For educational purposes of course.

That bullbar can tie it to your vehicle if it has ever been seen. Flock cameras can recognize stickers, and modifications visible on vehicles. It can recognize a/m roof racks, lights, bumpers, even that deadhead sticker on the back window or license plate frame to save the sea turtles.

The US of A has truly become dystopian. Basically everything this CEO says boils down to "everyone in my way is a terrorist/bad guy", just to excuse his shittyness.

That the system in question can be accessed easily is another thing, let alone the fact that it has been used to creep on women and girls. That alone disqualifies it, no more information needed.

That it's also used to harass people those in power don't like is just the cream on the shit sundae.

I've never seen so much production sunk into a video with such poor audio.

Seriously, so much of what this guy says is garbled

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve never seen someone use their ceiling so much… 😂 It was in at first and then it was like “oh god, another surface… here come the words!!!”

For those in the back:

THIS IS WHY WE SAY **ACAB**

air rifles are probably pretty good at disabling cameras too

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Regular rifles too

Shotguns are better.

Do Americans even know about Snowden?
I mean the illegal mass surveillance of citizens is nothing new or secret for over a decade already.
It's just Americans were not interested or they are too brainwashed or maybe just braindead if they act suprised now...

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Snowden was 13 years ago, and there have been some ... developments ... since then which have caused him to fade out of the public sphere.

high power green laser will fix those FLOCK cameras.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Years ago it was relatively easy to buy lasers more powerful than 5mW online. But not so much recently. I'm talking about 1W lasers and such.

Part of the reason for them not being available anymore are those assholes who shine them at aircraft, hoping to blind the pilots.

The music is unnecessary

Every proud American should disetroy at least 1 flock camera

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Even without ALPRs or LPRs, car manufacturers still sell the tracking information that is installed in your car.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Flock needs to be dismantled and its owners thrown in prison. Same goes for any departments that used this to stalk people.

Palantir is another that needs that treatment.

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Correct

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool. Who's gonna do it?

What and get rid of Big Brother?

4 weeks ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

If you view DeFlock as closer to antifa "than anything else"; what does that make you my dude?

4 weeks ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

He didn't just say antifa, he said they are a terrorist organization. Tells you everything about what party he's nose deep in ass to kiss.

Fa

This is the first time I feel we’re not going to come back from all of this. The techbros (incl. Musk) have too much power now, they control almost everything, and they’re not going to give that power away.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Remember how you used to be able to obscure your face with a battery powered LED transmitter attached to a pair of glasses because security cameras can pick up the light they emit? Can you do that with Flock's cameras?

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m glad this was shared. I hadn’t even heard of Flock until today and now I’m just like WTF?!

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's even worse. Now they're making drones that go 60mph and can read license plates from 2000ft.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its freaking unbelievable to me just what insane hellscape the us has become over the years. And even wilder that people are cheering this on. Well I guess this is the "decades of gutting education, and a channel (fox) dedicating to spreading only lies 24/7" effect. Like, when I download proprietary software now the first first thing I check is if it's american or not. How tf did that happen ooohh yeah now I know how that happened

This is China level communist level of monitoring.

The dumbest Americans have Calvinist predestination mentality, they think they won't be arrested because arrests only happen to bad people. Unfortunately a large enough minority are all that stupid that these things are legal

4 weeks ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

It wasn't illegal to be gay, until it was.
It wasn't illegal to be homeless, until it was.
It wasn't illegal to be trans , until it was.
It wasn't illegal to be disabled, until it was.
It wasn't illegal to be Jewish, until it was.
It wasn't illegal to be you. Until it was.

I guess some people yearn to be in a prison.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The fucked thing IMHO is that it isn't the government doing it, it's private companies. But the government is paying to use it

4 weeks ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

How about anyone using it is fucked

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We're rewarding the tech entrepreneurs with the sociopathic mindset of "what can we make technology do, and how can I get rich from it?" The answers are "anything you can imagine" , and "many corporations and governments will want to use it to solidify and increase their power and influence with no regard for human rights." Unfortunately the tech bros don't give a rat's ass about the rights thing, because they are mostly sociopaths.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We are being watched. The government has a secret system, a machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror but it sees everything. Violent crimes involving ordinary people. The Government considers these people "irrelevant". We don't. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You'll never find us, but victim or perpetrator, if your number's up... we'll find *you*.

Terrible show with Terrible actors lmao, thats why its run was so short.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I loved that show in middle/high school.

4 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

What show?

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Person of Interest. Had a lot of good insight into surveillance and AI long before it became a thing. Good show outside of that too.

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Person of Interest, was on CBS I think, starring Jesus from Passion of the Christ, and the scientist who has Lucy chop off his head in Fallout.

This level of celeb is so spot on. Nobody knows your name but you're such a prolific actor that everybody knows your face. They are both pretty squarely in that camp. Not so big they have a security team, but they probably can't get groceries in a timely manner.
