both of these guns work in the same way (one shot for each time trigger is pulled), fire the same cartridge (.223 remington) and accept box magazines (anywhere from 3 to 5 to 30+ rounds)
aside from the shotguns listed here all of these weapons will accept a box magazine. that means that just because the "hunting guns" are shown with smaller magazines doesn't mean they won't take a 20rd mag, 30rd mag or 100rd beta mag.
doodoobailey
I call bullshit...I have fired all of these and it's a LOT EASIER TO KILL PEOPLE with the comp stock, pistol grip, suppressor, etc.
chinablue
The government wants to take away gun ownership rights so we will have no power to fight back.
XeroFile
I don't wanna put a pistol grip on my shotgun, by God I'll defend your right to do it to yours!
cousteau
Oh noes. It profoundly irritates me when similar products don't end having identical categories.
yetanotherstupidlylongusernamethatnoonewillread
A lot of this has to do with the pistol grip and stocks. They are much easier to fire and are excessive for hunting/home protection/hobby
AlDonor
Some of you people on here are so fucking dense. Second amendment right is absolutely ridiculous in our current time period.

I'm very much pro gun control, but this is indeed pretty fucking stupid.
bromporke
I "hearted" this and that's rare... Thanks

This is idiotic - all of the banned weapons are easier to conceal, disassemble, or fire at a higher rate than the non-banned weapons.
HitmanSam
Pretty sure the Ruger mini-14 is chambered in .223, 5.56 NATO has a different head spacing

People like to use 'merca as a derogatory sometimes but 2A is Gawddamnd America, and nothing more so than M1, 1911, M14, and 50 BMG

1911 mmmmmmyeah
LordNoodles
I should upgrade mine.
LordNoodles
Illinois recently got conceal carry, and my short 5"5 Asian self carries a Ruger 1911 5" because of American reasons.

I'm upvoting this again just so more people will see. We know what you did though, don't forget that...

I had an RK-62 in the army. Some dudes got an RK-95 with a collapsible stock. I knew they were dangerous and avoided their company.
AricNeo
To be fair the 'assault weapons' 'aesthetics' are still functional and make it easier to conceal (collapsible stock/flash suppressor) also
AricNeo
the 'assault' guns tend to be easier to go longer before reloading (greatly increase damage potential/threat) and are easier to mod overall
AricNeo
That being said most of the more common gun issues are with pistols which are by far easier to use both maliciously and for self-defense

Psychological evaluation + gun accountability > Removal of all guns.

How about ban all weapons?
RalinStorm
alright... I feel like i'm missing something here
LordNoodles
Just adjust your aim then
TurkTurkelton
As pro gun as I am most of the 'assault weapons' listed here have larger magazines then the ones they are compared too...
EternalSunshineofthePotlessMind
The only thing that should have special requirements/permits are fully auto weapons. You can kill a lot of people with those
TerribleBot
I just wanna ban all weapons. Sorry.
LordFufuBerry
just ban all of them?

You're on fucking crack if you think a .22 is "the same" as a .223

.22 is the most deadly caliber in the world.

Oh, America. No gun laws, no free health care, and very high education costs. Uneducated indebted ppl with guns. This should work out, right?
diabolicaljazz
"No gun laws." Is that what they teach you about us, overseas?
GettingSideways
Should I have said loose gun laws? But yes, that's essentially the gist of it.
diabolicaljazz
So like, we do have gun control laws. Anything fully-automatic or suppressed requires a Class 3 license, which are hard to obtain, and in 1

many states there are special licenses or more-intensive background checks required to buy any kind of pistol. Background checks are 2

There 3 classes of guns in CAN. Non-Restricted: hunting & sporting rifles, hunting shotguns, air rifles with muzzle velocity > 500ft/s. 1/?
