Gets even better--during one of the bailouts in the Trump years, one of the orgs was the Catholic church. They cited the reason for the bailout was the financial strain of having to pay out so many sexual abuse cases. In a very real sense, taxpayers subsidized a private, religious organization's sexual abuse of children.

Let’s say you run an organization which includes services to kids, such as an after school art program. You do background checks and install cameras, etc but there is no way to keep all predators out all the time. Those scum are crafty. If one slips through your safety measures and assaults a child, your general liability policy provides no coverage and no money for a lawyer to defend the case. One lawsuit and you’re out of business. Yeah, you need a policy like this.
