Background....Nigel Farage, leader of right wing Reform steps down from his seat to avoid questions on a 5 million pound "loan" he got from a friend, and then announces he will stand again in the same constituency "to let the people decide" if anything corrupt has happened. All mainstream parties refuse to play along this game and state they will not put forward a candidate. Step forward...BINFACE

Count Binface can Bin Cuntface

Point of order here, it wasn't loan or even a "loan". It was, by Farage's own admission, a gift, AKA bung, bribe, backhander.

Lord Buckethead was pretty cool. Does anyone know where his music video is? I think it was Christmas themed.

Also, please god let it happen.

Oh hey it’s the “Up the RA” guy. Classic vid, but I do hear Nigel is kinda a piece of shit.

He's an abject wankstain of protoplasm that inhabits a suit. Been rabble rousing for thirty odd years, and directly responsible for the clusterfuck that is Brexit.

Is that meant to be a Ned kelly reference?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

once he's re-elected, can we ask the quesions then?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please oh please Britain elect Count Binface. The same country that voted for Boaty McBoatface. Show the billionaires that when they buy a politician it's a waste of their money.

I firmly believe there is a huge marketing miss in not using Binny McBinface.

At this point I say give Binface a chance. I mean, the average term for the British PM is like two months anyway, so what’s the worst that can happen?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

im not well versed in british politics so forgive me if this is a dumb question, how do the other parties benefit from not running candidates? would it not make sense to try to snatch his seat?

2 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Binface isn’t officially running (yet).

If it ends up that no one else opposes it runs then -and here’s the funny thing- the Chancellor (of all people) can revoke the idiot’s resignation and FORCE him to remain an MP!

Farage forces a by-election before the investigation into his finances have concluded. That is Farage's attempt to de-legitimise the investigation and any conclusions that may come from it. By not running any serious candidates the other parties hopes to to cut off his attempt to de-legitimise the investigation.

His stepping down doesn't cancel the investigation. If the other parties run against him and he wins his seat back, then he can use it to show that his constituency wants him, even when he's taking huge bribes. Once the investigation is over, he is likely to be suspended causing a *second* by-election. The second one would likely go the same way (people get tired of the circus). Instead, no other parties run -> this election is stupid -> Count Binface has a real chance. Bring it, on Count!

its so that people will have an option of the corrupt, nazi wannabe, asshole or a Majestic Hero with a Bucket on his head. Plus its Clacton on sea aka Mos Eisley

Bit of additional information. (1) Laurence Fox has announced he intends to stand for Clacton. Interesting - Farage and Fox are both promoting culture wars over having anything difficult like a policy, and may split the fuck-knuckle vote. (2) as well as the £5M donation, Farage has also been taking money, staff and accommodation from a known fraudster. (3) The Bank of England have notified the National Crime Agency over a number of transactions sent to Reform that seem unsatisfactory.

Although I get why he had to change personas, I truly miss Lord Buckethead.

Was about to say I thought his name was lord bucket head. What made him change it?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

To quote TerryClothCrews: "Same person. The Lord Buckethead persona was an actual IP that someone else owned and told him to stop using it. So he swappd to Count Binface."

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is count binface off-brand lord buckethead?

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same person. The Lord Buckethead persona was an actual IP that someone else owned and told him to stop using it. So he swappd to Count Binface.

It's pronounced Bouquet! /s

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Just like 'Farage', which altho it sounds a little French, is actually pronounced 'Cuntface'

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In Clacton they call him Nigel Mirage.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why did he have to change personas? Lord Buckhead has begged name recognition, no?

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

lol no there is a weirdly specific law about the usage of the word “bucket” in a name when it comes to political candidates in the UK. The history is actually interesting. In 1952, the labor party put forth someone named Lindsey Pbucketly who had ties to a local candy empire that was accused of rigging lawn games. The Pbucketly name was obviously disgraced due to this and I’ve made this entire thing up and can’t believe you’re still reading

I was just nodding along thinking, “yep, sounds excessively British to me.”

It's a character from someone else's movie, a low-budget Star Wars parody. The director chose to assert control over his IP.

2 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Which I yet find silly, as can you imagine the free advertising of having your character be a sassy, down-to-galaxy member of parliament?

2 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I shall be forever a Bucket Head
