Police in North Carolina kneel with protestors in support
I love the handshaking and personal conversations happening at the end between officers and protesters.

If we all just had this amount of open mindedness and empathy for each other, the world would be a vastly different place. Let’s keep pushing for more of this. Let’s not lose sight of these small moments of progress. Let’s build on them and allow the moment to build toward positive, collaborative change.

Stop falling for the copaganda. They kneel for PR, or to put their gas masks on so they can tear gas protestors. Open your eyes.

Asheville is where they blocked protestors on a bridge and rubber bullet / gassed them. Don't believe the hype, power doesnt give easily.

Awesome. Until the cameras are off, and the cops stand back up and tear gas everyone. Lets hope that wasn't the case here.

We could solve everything with a rousing game or Red Rover.

Red rover red rover, send that black man we suspect of armed robbery right over
tantricpooper
Red rover red rover, send the shady officer with a large yet undocumented number of civil rights violation complaints right over

This happened yesterday in New York, too. An hour later, they gassed the crowd and then beat the shit out of people. Other cities, too.

I stand by my post though. We need more of this and none of the other bullshit. Deescalate. Listen. Stand together.

Happened 2 days ago in Riverside, CA, an hour after the cops knelt down protesters were throwing rocks and m80s at the cops who just knelt
MisterRichard
How many people did the cops pepper spray, beat and gas before that started?
darkhelmet342
None.

Vfootage is there -- journalist talking about how nice it is to see cops and protesters getting along, then almost gets hit by a firecracker
