I knew someone that had this one big fish in a coffin size fish tank. We went to the grocery store to buy frozen peas, bulk. We had to be careful not to startle the fish because it could smash the glass while panicking.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Do you think a 6 foot long tank is somehow...small, for an aquarium? I have a foot long dragon koi in a tank that's 4 feet long and while I'm trying to find a new home for her because I love her and can't care for her properly anymore, 2 extra feet on that thing would make it something like a 120 gallon tank. They don't get much bigger than that without spending thousands of dollars. As aquariums go, that's HUGE.
Goldfish and Koi fo have teeth, however they sre located at the back of their mouth and are somewhat flat (to crush food with), they even lose them and regrow new ones every so often :)

Why would you transfer fish into another tank just to feed them? It's incredibly stressful and when stressed, fish tend to stop eating so aquarists do not do that. You just feed them in the same tank they're in.
