Let's get this bread.

I enjoy fucking with my stupider, more bigoted brethren that the actual LGBTQ+ plot is to restore the Empire of Four Quarters (Tawantinsuyu) and that they didn't steal the rainbow from "God", but instead stole it from the Inca.

I had a Townsend's Warbler in the same binocular view of a male Western Tanager yesterday, which was nice. I love Western Tanagers. They glow like gold and jet gems in the green of the forest.

#1 I sent this to a baker I know, his response "fuck off"

If you want night bakeries hit up etnic ones 24 hour cuban and columbian places abound. Empanadas at midnight!

#11 I can't help pointing out that the Cusco flag has one more stripe, but thats OK. Close enough for rock 'n' roll.

#12 I submit that she must have children and also be mature. I.E. a 21 yr old mom cannot be a "MILF" The whole idea of a MILF is someone your mom's age that you would like to fuck.

#12 A “MILF” should also be old enough to be YOUR mother. If you try to knock me off this hill, I’m taking you all with me.

#11 I love it when cities etc find just the right way to stick a thumb in the eye of the Worst people. Cf. Salt Lake and Boise.

#24 Don't forget, "Books are making kids lazy, back in my day we didn't have reference texts and had to memorize everything!"

#12 The cherry on the top of this post is the Phoenix Wright avatar, just imagining him saying this in a courtroom

"OBJECTION! A woman needs to have children to be a MILF!"

#15 That's what I always wanted to say, but never found the right (funny and clever) words for it.

If I tell you you eat for a day, if you learn to use Google translate, you eat for a lifetime!

#12 the definition of MILF that I remember first hearing was "a woman whose teenage kids have friends that find her attractive". i.e., it was a designation bestowed, and used exclusively by, teenagers. Clearly, we've lost the plot of it's being used to describe women who aren't even mothers.

#3 Well, this one hit hard after dating with a woman I liked a lot, but she decided to put a stop to it. Wants to remain friends, but not sure I can do that. This pic made me think of the 'no' option.

#1 there was a 24 hour doughnut place in the same lot as a dance club i frequented most weekends for a few years in my youth. The smell leaving the club was glorious. I only got them a few times, typically went for real food at dennys at 1am after 5 hours of dancing. But those glazed pillows of dough were heavenly.

#1 I went to culinary school for patisserie and baking, but I'm a night person so it really didn't work out. 😭 I support this 100%

#22 In some future Jurassic Park equivalent bringing back animals that were alive in the 21st century, a future Alan Grant: "it's perfectly harmless, the hippopotamus is a herbivore".

You know perfectly well that this is a future John Hammond quote. A future Alan Grant would be blasting him for assuming that you can tell anything about a creature's behavior from its diet alone.

#31 So I get a girlfriend, fast internet, *and* I get to be underground? Count me in! (I realize being underground could be either "chilling in a cave" or "buried alive" and honestly, both could be ok right now.)

#1 all the Korean bakeries in my town are busiest 8pm to midnight. All the white folk are there early but the Koreans show up after dark.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

St. Louis, MO has a donut shop that opens at Midnight. It’s awesome.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't mislead people on the internet that Dundee is sophisticated.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude bro, I am coming to Scottland in late June and ill fancy a night brekkie. Name thy bakery

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

https://clarksbakery.co.uk/ You'll be wanting the one on Annfield Row. It looks like a warehouse on an industrial estate, because it is, but don't be fooled - it does the job.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

@Degbis you gonna end up in one of those places where they hunt you for organs

Clarks! Saved my life when I was out late on the road after a show once

Here in Montreal we have Fairmount Bagel, open 24/7. There’s absolutely nothing like being completely wasted and getting a freshly fire pit-baked Everything bagel at 3am lol

I've been told Montreal has some awesome bagel places.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just a few blocks away is also St. Viateur Bagel (both are in the Jewish district and both are city staples) lol

"Well, if you need an excuse. There's a bakery on the corner that'll be open soon. That way we're not screwy, but two people that like warm rolls."

#43 for anyone that ever sees some weird pyramid design conspiracy theories, just be aware that ancient people could do mathematics too, that is for example why we know the Pythagorean theorem was come up with by Pythagoras, and he has not been around for a while. This does not require more knowledge than modern mathematicians have, just more knowledge than modern idiots. 1/

2/the second part is that the Egyptians used a round measuring tool. They took a wheel with indentations on it and rolled it along to measure something, the indentations leaving marks at certain measurements. This means many of their measurements are based on pi.
